(Nash) Bates, was born 5 Jun 1909 in Battle Creek, Michigan and died 25 Apr 1961 in Owosso, Michigan. On 25 Jun 1935, in Haines Falls, New York, he married Alta Amelia Ayers (1916-2009). They are buried in Haines Falls Cemetery, Haines Falls, New York. They had three children: Bruce Russel (1938-1964), Barry D. and Barbara Ann (1945-2012)."
